every man i’ve ever loved has had mars in aquarius. as a person with a hefty dose of leo planets, it’s no surprise really. they light up my 7th house of partnership- the airy nature of aquarius blowing gusts of encouragement, wisdom, and levity onto my hopeful leo kindling. they challenge me, entice me, and above all make me laugh with their signature insane sense of humor. their disdain for authority is inherently hot. their intellect and objectivity refreshingly clarifying. but admittedly, outside of my intimate agreement with mars, i struggle with my complete understanding of aquarian values. how could i not? they light up my 7th house of the open enemy, the opposite, the not-me. part of my job as a leo rising is to fully and confidently inhabit whatever stage i place myself upon, so how can i do that if I invite the aquarian audience to join me on stage in the warmth of the spotlight? therein, ofcourse, lies the beauty of the 1st/7th house axis- and the bulk of my life lessons!
aquarius season is critical. it’s the much needed solution for these dreary capricorn times. the symbol itself representational of two rivers creatively harnessed to clean out and wash away the residue of an ancient, exhausted problem (capricorn establishments). aquarius riles up our anti-authority side- our need to break the mold, to do our own thing regardless of someone else’s opinion. the area of your chart ruled by aquarius needs freedom to be itself, to possess an unabashed unconventionality that you cherish in your own way. it’s your unique offering, where you see things a little different than other people..where you feel alienated from other people even.
thing is, you’re not alienated. in fact, we need you to move this whole thing forward.. collectively we ache for connection as we grow more estranged from one another- and at the end of the day, we’re really all in this together. perhaps that’s what aquarius is all about.
